Comedian Tom Green, who first rose to fame in the '90s through his eponymous MTV comedy-prank series The Tom Green Show, is reportedly planning a major comeback in 2025.
According to Page Six, the 53-year-old has a number of upcoming projects in the works, including a documentary, comedy special and four-part docuseries that will all premiere within days of each other exclusively on Prime Video in January. In addition, Green is also reportedly working on a country music album that is apparently not a parody—unlike his 1999 novelty single "Lonely Swedish (The Bum Bum Song)."
The four-part docuseries, called is said to focus on Green's new life "off the grid." After decades of living in Los Angeles and even attaining his U.S. citizenship, in 2021 he moved back to Canada to live on a 100-acre property on White Lake in Ontario, where he cares for a menagerie of animals including a donkey, horses, chickens, and his dog, Charley.
The comedy special, "I Bought a Mule!" will ostensibly also deal with the latest chapter in his life. Filmed at Canada's National Art Center in Ottawa back in May, the event page noted that the show was being filmed for an upcoming Amazon Prime special.
The documentary, on the other hand, is said to tackle Green's auspicious rise to fame, from his days filming man-on-the-street videos for Canadian public access TV to his massively popular MTV series and cult 2001 comedy Freddy Got Fingered. It will also delve into his personal life, such as his whirlwind five-month marriage to actress Drew Barrymore and battle with testicular cancer. Green was diagnosed with the disease in early 2000, documenting his treatment for The Tom Green Cancer Special on MTV.
Green is also preparing to launch a U.S. comedy tour, which will kick off in Chattanooga, TN in January and run through June.

While there's no additional details about the country album, just a few weeks ago Green released a song, "Get Er Done Tonight" on YouTube. It seems like it will indeed be a busy year for the comedian.
