Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) revealed she was "very disappointed" after former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) withdrew as President-elect Donald Trump's nominee to be attorney general — and called for releasing a secret list of other sexual harassment lawsuits against other lawmakers.
During a Thursday interview on Real America's Voice, Greene reacted to Gaetz dropping out just minutes before CNN reported that a woman told the House Ethics Committee the former lawmaker engaged in sexual misconduct with her at least twice when she was 17.
"I'm very disappointed," Greene said. "You know, here's what frustrates me. Washington, D.C. is full of secrets."
"And if they're going to roll out reports on Matt Gaetz, basically threatening him and forcing him out, then they need to release all the other secrets on everybody else," she continued. "And that's what I'm having a hard time with today."
Greene said taxpayer money was used to settle sexual harassment lawsuits against other lawmakers.
"And this has been known about for years, and that list has never been publicized," she insisted. "I think lists like that should come out if we're going to be single, you know, picking out single reports on certain people."

"But I know Matt Gaetz very well, and I've watched him fight for years and fought alongside him in Congress," she added. "And I know that whatever Matt Gaetz goes on to do, he's going to do a great job at it."
