Happy Thursday!
Big changes have arrived in Central Ohio as our first snow showers of the season arrive! Expect a scattered wintry mix through the morning drive, and then just continuing on-and-off throughout the day. Expect another heavier wave later this evening, bringing impacts especially to our far southwestern areas.
Luckily, icing will not be a problem today, as surface temps are well above freezing, but could see some slush on bridges and overpasses.
It will be a very chilly day, with air temps in the 30s, but "feels-like" temps in the 20s thanks to strong winds.
By tomorrow, we'll be on the back edge of this low pressure system, which means we will still see some scattered rain showers, especially into Friday afternoon. Highs will be in the middle 40s, and we will be fairly gusty.
The weekend will be much calmer. Expect cloudy skies, but dry conditions for Saturday, and for the Ohio State game. Highs will be in the upper 40s.
We'll see a bit more sunshine into Sunday, with highs in the lower 50s.
