EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A woman lying in the street in Brooklyn was fatally struck by an NYPD minivan in Brooklyn on Wednesday, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened along Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York around 6 p.m. A Toyota minivan was traveling north when it struck the woman, according to authorities.
The woman was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The driver and a passenger in the minivan were also taken to a local hospital, police said.
The woman has not been identified. No arrests have been made.
