“The most physically fit contenders from across Asia will compete fiercely, representing their countries with pride.”
Since its debut in 2023, Physical: 100 has captured the imagination of viewers with its intense competition format.
Each season sees 100 participants in peak physical condition battling through grueling individual and team challenges that test strength, endurance, and agility.
Contestants are eliminated over a series of rounds until one emerges victorious.
The final winner takes home 300,000,000 South Korean Won, which amounts to around £16,950.
The second season of Physical: 100 concluded in April 2024, with producer Jang Ho-gi hinting at a shake-up for the show’s third series.
He teased “a completely new format and composition”, suggesting that international contestants could compete in teams based on nationality.
Jang also left the door open for other changes, including the possibility of moving away from the show’s single-winner premise.
He explained: “Audience preferences are somewhat changing [so] I’m considering whether there might be a new format that fits the desires of the current audience, aside from just selecting one person.
“We are leaving all possibilities open.”
