The Dyson Airwrap is a game changer that hundreds of hair experts and novices adore because it dries and styles your hair simultaneously. After our testing, we named the Dyson Airwrap the best hair dryer for fighting frizz — but "hair dryer" might be a bit of a misnomer since it also effectively functions as a curling iron.
The original version debuted in 2019 at $549, but Dyson upgraded to the Airwrap 2.0 in June 2022 with new attachments and a $600 price tag. This steep cost still didn't deter people's curiosity, as the latest version sold out several times from multiple retailers. That said, we'd never say no to a great deal, and we predict that this Black Friday will bring a nice price cut.

Speaking with Business Insider for our review of the Dyson Airwrap, celebrity hair colorist Jenna Perry (whose clientele includes Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa) said that she's been a fan of the Airwrap since its initial launch. "The original Airwrap provided a new way to a salon-level style at home without the fear of heat damage," Perry said. "What I love most about the new model are the upgrades — the re-engineered curling barrels that don't require changing if you want to alter the direction of your curls, and the smoothing dryer and brushes that give my wavy and thick hair a more polished look."
Black Friday is a great time to buy the Dyson Airwrap because it rarely goes on sale throughout the year. While we believe this is one of the best hair tools to splurge on, there's no better feeling than getting a great discount on something you've been saving up for.
Black Friday is traditionally the Friday following Thanksgiving. This year, the shopping holiday falls on November 29. Cyber Monday is typically the next Monday, and this year, it falls on December 2, so you can continue your shopping through the beginning of the week. However, over the years, we've seen retailers starting earlier and earlier with their promotions, so don't be surprised to see significant savings in a week or two before the official Black Friday.
