The Washington family is hitting the red carpet!
Denzel Washington and wife Pauletta stepped out to support their kids Malcolm, John David, and Katia Washington at the premiere of their new Netflix movie The Piano Lesson on Tuesday night (November 19) held at The Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles
John David, 40, stars in the movie, which Malcolm, 33, directed, and Katia, 36, produced.
Cast members in attendance included Danielle Deadwyler, Ray Fisher, Michael Potts, Erykah Badu, Skylar Aleece Smith, Corey Hawkins, and Gail Bean.
Katia had the support of wife Colleen at the premiere while Tyler, the Creator was also in attendance.
Here’s the movie’s synopsis from Netflix: “Set in 1936 Pittsburgh during the aftermath of the Great Depression, The Piano Lesson follows the lives of the Charles family in the Doaker Charles household and an heirloom, the family piano, which documents the family history through carvings made by their enslaved ancestor.”
The Piano Lesson will be released on Netflix on November 22. Watch the trailer here!
