PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man with warrants for "multiple violent crimes" was found and arrested in Gresham early Monday night after a shelter-in-place was issued in the late afternoon.
The suspect, 39-year-old Gabriel Saucedo, ran into the neighborhood near NE 195th and Clackamas Street when police initially tried to arrest him on those outstanding warrants.
Officials believed Saucedo was armed. A perimeter was set up and some roads were closed during the search.
At 6:47 p.m., Gresham police said Saucedo was in custody after the search, which involved drones and K9s.
The shelter-in-place was lifted.
This is a developing story.
