The 58th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards are set to take place this Wednesday, Nov. 20, from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Here’s how you can watch and stream country music’s biggest night.
This year, the CMA Awards will air at 8 p.m. EST (5 p.m. EST). It’s expected to wrap up around 11 p.m., but those of us who have ever watched an awards show know it may run a bit longer.
The CMAs air on ABC.
The CMAs are available to stream on any live TV streaming service that carries ABC, including Hulu+ Live TV, Sling, Fubo, and DirecTV. The show will be available to stream for all Hulu subscribers starting Thursday, Nov. 21.
This year’s CMA Awards will be hosted by an assortment of country music talent. Lainey Wilson will join Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, who hosted the show in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Performers will include Post Malone, Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, and Jelly Roll. Don Johnson, Jeff Bridges, Simone Biles, and Billy Bob Thornton will serve as presenters.
The first CMA Awards, then entitled “The CMA Awards Banquet and Show,” was held in 1967. It was broadcast the following year, making it the longest-running annual music awards program on network television. The awards show is marking its 18th anniversary with ABC, having aired on the network since 2006. ABC is also the home of two other CMA properties, “CMA Fest” and “CMA Country Christmas.”
