Researchers at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have created robotic shorts designed to support individuals in walking more comfortably and with reduced energy expenditure. The innovation primarily aims to promote mobility and prolong the independence of older adults and those who may be frail. "You can walk slowly with the shorts but you can also jog," said TUM Professor Lorenzo Masia.
