NEW YORK – (November 15, 2024) – U.S. Representative Tim Burchett and sports journalist and host Bomani Jones will join as guests on this week’s episode of CNN’s Have I Got News For You, the much-anticipated American version of the long-running BBC comedy series. Produced by Hat Trick Productions for CNN Originals, the ten-episode limited series will continue on Saturday, November 16 at 9pm ET/PT on CNN.
Always relevant and topical, Have I Got News for You, serves up a smart and edgy take on the news of the week from host Roy Wood Jr. along with two illustrious team captains in Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black.
Republican Congressman Tim Burchett represents Tennessee’s 2nd District. Rep. Burchett took office in January 2019, after serving eight years as mayor of Knox County. Prior to his tenure as Knox County Mayor, he served 16 years in the state legislature, four years in the State House followed by 12 years in the State Senate. Rep. Burchett currently serves on the House Committees on Oversight and Accountability; Foreign Affairs; and Transportation and Infrastructure.
Bomani Jones is an award-winning television sports journalist turned full time podcaster, anchoring his popular podcast The Right Time with Bomani Jones. In late night, Jones hosted and executive produced the HBO sports series Game Theory with Bomani Jones, and is best known for his appearances on ESPN’s The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz and regularly appearing on ESPN’s studio programming including SportsCenter, Pardon the Interruption, First Take and more.
Have I Got News For You will regularly air Saturdays at 9pm ET/PT and will be available to stream on Max the following day. This week’s episode will stream live for pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps on Saturday, November 16. It will also be available on demand beginning Sunday, November 17 to pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps, and Cable Operator Platforms.
