But did you know that the Ambanis organized a ‘Winter Wonderland’ to celebrate the wedding of their son Akash Ambani and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta? Yes, you read that right! The family transformed a small Swiss town into a magical Christmas carnival to mark the couple’s union.
In February 2019, just days before Akash and Shloka tied the knot, the entire Ambani family hosted a Winter Wonderland celebration in Switzerland. The venue for this grand event was the Alpine resort town of St. Moritz. According to reports, the celebrations lasted three days, during which guests were treated to an enchanting carnival-themed extravaganza.

Reports indicate that over 300 guests flew to St. Moritz to attend the pre-wedding celebrations. The guest list included Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, and others.
The carnival’s entrance featured a massive board displaying the official wedding hashtag – #AkuStoleTheShlo. Adding to the grandeur, the globally renowned band Coldplay performed at the event. On the second day of the festivities, reports suggest that the carnival gates were also opened to locals, making it a truly memorable experience.
Interestingly, a similar type of carnival is reportedly being planned for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who is set to marry his longtime girlfriend Lauren Sanchez in an equally lavish affair.
