Team news for Tottenham’s Premier League game with Ipswich Town this afternoon has been announced, and Ange Postecoglou has…
Last time out in the Premier League, Spurs were in dreamland as they knocked four goals past Aston Villa to register an important win.
That victory has been sandwiched between an impressive Carabao Cup win over Manchester City, and a disappointing 3-2 defeat against Galatasaray in the Europa League this week.
Next up for Tottenham is the visit of Ipswich Town. The Tractor Boys are yet to win a game in the league this season, but will be desperate to go into the international break on a high.
Meanwhile, the Lilywhites have formed a bad habit of performing poorly in their fixtures prior to the international break, and Ange Postecoglou will be eager to put a stop to that pattern this weekend.
Postecoglou has a number of players on the Tottenham injury list at the moment, with first-choice centre-halves Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven out of action.
Richarlison faces a fairly lengthy spell on the sidelines with a hamstring issue, too. Meanwhile, Tio Werner and Mikey Moore missed the game against Galatasaray in midweek.
Well, the lineups are in, and we now know who Postecoglou is putting in his starting XI today.
Tottenham XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie; Bentancur, Sarr, Kulusevski; Johnson, Solanke, Son.
Subs: Forster, Spence, Davies, Gray, Bissouma, Bergvall, Maddison, Werner, Lankshear.
