Traffic coming in from the Expressway seemed to have got a lot worse over the last couple of seasons. I get off the M6 at Spaghetti - my new route for a while has been getting of the A38(M) at Park Circus, past Wing Yips, Saltley Viaduct and over to Landor Street and parking up there. Decent walk to the ground, but it saves gridlock most of the time and getting away is much easier now. Plus there's the scenery. Feck me, the scenery.

Don't advertise this. It's still reasonably quiet.
Duddeston Mill Road is open again. It's possible to go straight on after Wing Yip, not over Saltley viaduct. Turn left by the station and it brings you down to Adderley Road. Though yesterday that way looked jammed. I don't recommend it on the way back as the road by the station gets very busy.I
Avoiding the Ring Road is a must.
