Men’s Tennis Travels to Florida for Bonita Bay Classic
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Four members of the Arkansas men’s tennis team are set to travel to Bonita Springs, Fla., for the Bonita Bay Classic hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University from Nov. 8-10 at the Bonita Bay Club.
The Razorbacks are one of seven teams that will compete this weekend with Florida, FAU, FGCU, Tulsa, UCF, UNC Wilmington and USF also participating in the event.
Brendan Boland, Benni Emesz, Connor Smillie and Jakub Vrba will represent the Hogs during the three-day event. Arkansas will take on USF in doubles and FGCU Blue in singles for its first set of matches on Friday. The Razorbacks will then match up against FGCU Blue in doubles and FAU in singles on Saturday before facing FAU in doubles and USF in singles to finish the weekend. Doubles matches will begin at 3 p.m. CT each day with singles to follow.
