Caleb Williams could be running for his life on Sunday.
The Chicago Bears won’t have either starting offensive tackle for their matchup with the New England Patriots, as left tackle Braxton Jones and right tackle Darnell Wright were both ruled out with knee injuries on Friday.
It’s not like they’ve got any great options to replace those guys, either, as primary reserve Kiran Amegadjie was also ruled out with a calf injury.
Bears head coach Matt Eberflus declined to discuss how the team adjust, though he did say they’d activate guard Ryan Bates — which could lead to Matt Pryor moving outside from right guard. Larry Borom will likely start at left tackle, which he has done a couple times this season.
The Patriots will look to take full advantage of an offensive line in disarray, especially with Keion White and Deatrich Wise Jr. each coming on strong in the last couple of weeks.
Chicago also ruled out safety Jaquan Brisker with a concussion.
