GARY Barlow poked fun at the height difference between him and son Daniel in a resurfaced clip.
The 53-year-old’s eldest son went viral this week after he was seen towering over his famous dad in a family holiday snap.
Now a video has resurfaced showing Take That star Gary and Daniel, 24, working out together.
In the post 5″7 Gary stood next to his shirtless 6″2 son with them both lifting weights.
But the singer joked that he’d stepped away from his boy to make the height difference less obvious.
He wrote alongside the post: “There’s nothing I love more than spending time with my kids. Here’s a little video of Dan and me having a Father and Son training session. I’m very proud of my boy and his commitment to his fitness.
“Don’t look at the difference in weights. Don’t notice that I’m stood a little further forward to make the size gap smaller. Lol.”
Gary also shares daughter Daisy, 15, with wife Dawn Andrews, who he married in 2000.
Height isn’t the only big difference between Gary and Daniel, as he revealed his children have decided to snub fame.
The Rule The World singer said: “The two oldest ones, Daniel and Emily, have kind of gone into medicine and physiology – studying strength and conditioning – and my youngest one, Daisy, I’m not too sure what she’s heading for but again, she’s very studious… unlike me and my wife.
He continued to the Mirror: “I don’t think they will follow in my music footsteps but I wouldn’t have discouraged them though if they did want to, it’s been a good business for me.
“Every day I still enjoy what I do and when you realise you’re making a living from it, it’s a great, great place to be.”
Gary and Dawn got together after she was a backup dancer for Take That in 1995.
He previously revealed that he wanted to renew his wedding vows with his wife.
uring a private audience with a select group of fans, he revealed: “I’d like to renew my wedding vows with my amazing wife. That’s definitely on the agenda.”
However, following the announcement, Gary joked that Dawn wasn’t keen on the idea.
Asked by a fan what she thought of his plans, he replied on Twitter: “She said ‘not that again!'”
