STRICTLY professionals Carlos Gu and Nancy Xu reunited in a dancing video amid backstage feud after pair stopped speaking
The pair and Big Brother star Yinrun Huang, 26, got together to film a dance video for Instagram.
Carlos opted for a red waist coat, black trousers and Nike Dunks, while Nancy wowed in a black bralette and brown mini skirt.
Yinrun – who took part in the ITV show last year – wowed in a floral bodycon maxi dress.
The trio got together to perform the viral dance to Charlie xcx’s song Apple.
They captioned the post: “The Apple Dance you’ve all been waiting for! Starring: Carlos, Nancy, and Yinrun @bbc #strictly #ad.”
Yinrun commented: “I feel so honoured dancing with two icons .”
Fans rushed to the comments section to share the love.
One wrote: “What an awesome trio….keep dancing.”
“smashed it,” another added.
A third chimed: “Slayyy. Love this trio.”
A fourth commented: “Love this!”
Nancy and Carlos’ social media appearance comes after it was revealed that the pair were involved in a huge backstage fall out – which left them unfollowing each other.
Nancy, 33, and Carlos, 31, who both grew up in China, used to be best mates — with him branding her his “favourite sister” and Nancy calling him “my baby brother”.
Their rift comes while he is said to be disappointed at not getting a celebrity partner this year — and Nancy has been focused on her pairing with Shayne Ward, 40.
An insider said: “The feud between Nancy and Carlos is really sad and has left everyone really shocked.
“They’ve been close since childhood, but have fallen out and unfollowed each other on socials.
“The atmosphere on set is said to be awkward and tense when both are around, and to many it was a relief when Carlos didn’t attend the show weeks ago.
“Carlos is said to be subdued after the falling-out and is also struggling with not getting a celebrity partner.
“His friends are worried about him as he is so far away from his family.
“He has wiped all pictures of her from his profile and unfollowing each other on Instagram is the ultimate finality in their friendship.
“With all the other drama in the Clauditorium, it’s the last thing bosses need.”
And just yesterday Carlos snubbed his fellow professional dancer in a shock blow after the pair stopped speaking.
And now Carlos has raised eyebrows among fans with a bold move on Instagram.
He shared a series of snaps – including one of pros Nancy, Johanes Radebe, Jowita Przystal, Aljaz Skorjanec and Nikita Kuzmin.
His followers were quick to notice Carlos tagged all of his co-stars except Nancy.
One wrote: “Why didn’t you tag Nancy?”
Another said: “I don’t think they’re friends anymore.”
Nancy joined Strictly in 2019, while Carlos became a pro dancer in 2022.
