A FIVE-year-old boy died in a tragic accident while dressed as Spiderman after a radiator fell on him.
Saleh Aslam was playing at his home during half-term when a 40kg radiator came away from the wall and hit his head on October 28.
Paramedics rushed to his home in Watford, Hertfordshire, but he died in hospital a short time later.
Hundreds of people attended his funeral on Saturday as his heartbroken parents paid tribute to their “kind and caring” young son.
Recalling the horror, Saleh’s dad Mohammad told the BBC: “We have no words to explain the pain.”
He added: “She [Saleh’s mum Bibi Khadija] literally went upstairs for two minutes”.
“As he tried to climb, it [the radiator] came off the hook – the entire radiator, which was around 40kg.
“It knocked his head and that unfortunate event caused him to bleed from his brain.”
Speaking to the Watford Observer, Mohammad described Saleh as “very caring, very kind, very humble, a very proud kid”.
The funeral was attended by teachers and pupils from Saleh’s local primary school.
His mum Bibi added: “He was my youngest – of course he has my heart and I can never forget him.”
