We’re sharing the four places to stream older Hallmark Christmas Movies and the one place guaranteed to have all the new ones as they come out. No cable TV required!
Before you start telling me it’s too early to worry about the holiday movie season, tell that to Walgreens. They’ve had their Christmas knickknacks out for months. Tell that to Michaels, who kicked out their Halloween merch before kids even got to trick or treat. And of course, tell that to Hallmark, who has already started playing their Christmas romance movies. They’re the epitome of cookie-cutter, and yet we still love to see the city girl fall for the small town carpenter during the apple festival or ice-carving competition or Christmas tree farm charity social.
But how do you watch Hallmark movies when you don’t have cable TV? We’re sharing the four places to stream older Hallmark Christmas Movies and the one place guaranteed to have all the new ones as they come out. No cable TV required!
Good news: Not only does Peacock have a whole slew of Hallmark Christmas movies in their streaming list, but they also have a mix of newer and older Christmas rom coms, including a new one this year, Our Holiday Story. Just search “Hallmark” in the Peacock app.
What if you don’t want to pay for these movies at all? Popular free streaming service Pluto TV has their own selection of Hallmark Christmas movies. You can search “Hallmark” in the app for on-demand holiday movies or you can try their Hallmark “Holiday Favorites” channel that’s constantly live-streaming your favorite movies, just like cable.
Like Pluto TV, The Roku Channel has their own free live-streaming Hallmark “Holiday Favorites” channel. Interestingly, they aren’t streaming the same movies at the same time, so if you don’t like what’s streaming on one, you can always try the other.
There aren’t as many options on Netflix as other streaming services on this list, which should come as no surprise. Netflix invests a lot of their money in their own Netflix Original holiday movies. But if this is all you’ve got, check out the handful of movies in their Hallmark Channel Collection.
Did you know Hallmark has their own streaming service? Of course they do–everyone else does. It’s called Hallmark+ and you can get it wherever you get your other streaming services. With their dedicated app, you can catch all the new movies for the 2024 holiday season as soon as they would come out on cable TV. If you’re someone who NEEDS to watch them as they happen, this is the way to do it. It’s $7.99 per month for a monthly subscription or $79.99 annually. But if you’re outside of the United States or its territories, you’re sadly out of luck.
Happy holidays, Hallmark fans!
