Beyoncé, a Virgo, is great at multitasking. Just look at her Instagram posts from today. In one fell swoop, she shared her Halloween costume, gave us Cowboy Carter visuals, and reminded everyone to go vote. Is it a little kooky to combine all of those things on Election Day? Yes, but who couldn’t use a fun distraction?
Beyoncé dressed up as several different versions of Pamela Anderson for Halloween, which she referred to as “BEYLLOWEEN.” She put her own spin on iconic Anderson looks including her 1999 VMAs outfit, her Baywatch swimsuit, and the Barb Wire poster. Bey was clearly feeling herself in these looks, because she had someone turn on the camera so she could make what seems like an impromptu video for “Bodyguard.”
At one point in the video, Beyoncé holds up a small toy pistol that has a flag reading “VOTE” taped onto it. You may think I meant to say that it was coming out of the gun like in a cartoon, but if you look closely, you’ll see that it is just stuck onto the barrel of the gun. I appreciate her desire to get the message out there, even if it seems like the prop was not entirely cooperating.
