The Falcons took a lead on the Cowboys, but wide receiver Drake London injured his hip on the play. We break down the Week 9 injury.
Status update: The Falcons have downgraded London to OUT for the rest of the Week 9 game against the Cowboys.
The Atlanta Falcons took a 7-3 lead on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but in doing so, they suffered a potential key loss. Wide receiver Drake London hauled in a touchdown catch on a goal line fade pattern, but injured his hip. He went into the blue tent after the play and was subsequently spotted riding the exercise bike on the sideline. He has been announced as questionable to return.
If you watch the video of the touchdown, you can see London land hard on his right hip. He seemed fine when he got up, but it’s possible he didn’t notice it until after the adrenaline wore off from the score.
