By he end of Day 2 of the 3rd Test between India and New Zealand, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja made the situation happy as they made it extremely hard for New Zealanders to handle.
The visitors were at 171 for 9 when the Day 2 ended for them. Then on Day 3, Indian bowlers took only 14 balls to secure the final wicket. Even after that, New Zealand managed to make a lead of 146 runs even after the outstanding bowling by Indian spinners.
Jadeja, Ashwin and Sundar were the players who broke through the New Zealand batting lineup. Ashwin took three wickets, Jadeja got five, Sundar took one.
To win this match, India will now have to chase the highest fourth-inning total at the Wankhede stadium. It will however, not be easy if we consider the spin attack from the Kiwis.
