STRICTLY Come Dancing fans hit out at the show’s judges for ‘overmarking’ a couple.
Although the panel highlighted mistakes, some viewers felt they were too generous.
In their critique, the judges pointed out Pete had made mistakes during the routine[/caption] The judging panel acknowledged mistakes during Pete’s routine[/caption]Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał opened Icons Week with a Salsa to Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust”.
It saw former Towie star Pete, 36, embody the band’s legendary frontman Freddie Mercury.
They received 6’s from Shirley, Motsi and Anton – as well as a 4 from Craig Revel Horwood.
Fans watching at home weren’t happy with this, however, as they took to social media.
One penned on X: “WTF is this thing with overmarking him every single f***** week.
“Are they all f*****g drunk. #strictly.”
Another added: “I hate to say it but Pete was overmarked :/ #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly.”
A third remarked: “Overmarked #Strictly.”
While a fourth chimed in: “6 is overmarked icl… #strictly.”
After the performance, head judge Shirley Ballas acknowledged Pete made “quite a lot of mistakes”.
Shirley also said she wasn’t going to “overjudge” the routine.
Meanwhile, fellow judge Craig told Pete and Jowita: “What a terrible shame, eh?
“Started going wrong really with the forward and back basic as soon as you actually started.
“You went back instead forward.”
He added: “It lacked rotation, it lacked fluidity, timing was out.
“It was a little bit stompy.
