While playing in the Hong Kong Sixes tournament against India, former England all-rounder Ravi Bopara showed his batting powers as he hit six sixes in six balls. During the fourth over of the match, Bopara decimated Indian captain Robin Uthappa as he hit every ball of that over all over the stadium.
Bopara went all out on Robin as he hit five straight sixes, giving total of 30 runs. Then on the final ball, to get the humiliation a bit less, he bowled a wide. The England skipper went on to smash another six on the final ball of the over, amassing 37 runs from 6 balls.
After his continuous six-sixes, Bopara also hit his seventh consecutive six, which played a huge role in his 14-ball fifty. Before he retired, he England captain scored 53 runs off 14 balls which included 8 sixes.
England made a massive score of 120/1 in six overs thanks to all this hard work. Bharat Chipli and Shreevats Goswami played quickly and made good score.
India went off to play and gave a strong reply, where Kedar Jadhav did the best and pushed a good score for India. The team, however, lost by 15 runs as they only managed to score 105/3 in their 6 overs.
