Arriving on the heels of this summer's new seasons of Love Island USA and Love Island UK, Love Island Australia returns for what the show is billing as the spiciest season ever. The series, hosted by Sophie Monk, follows in the tradition of the rest of the Love Island franchise by putting a group of singles together in a villa. The contestants couple up in the hopes of being voted the last remaining couple, with a cash prize waiting at the end.
Seasons typically run for about a month and a half and contain anywhere from 27-30 episodes. The first season was filmed in Mallorca, Spain before the series shifted to Fiji for Season 2 and Byron Bay for Season 3. Starting in Season 4 and continuing through to the current season, the series returned to Mallorca.
