ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Latin American restaurant Salsa Latina is moving to a new space in Albany. Owner Urbano Llano told NEWS10 the restaurant is moving from 315 Central Avenue to 579 New Scotland Avenue.
Salsa Latina closed it's current location on Central Avenue on Monday for the move, said Llano. The restaurant is hoping to open in its new space across from St. Peter's Hospital by the end of November as long at they receive all the necessary permits.
Llano said safety concerns prompted the move to New Scotland Avenue. He is in the process of selling the old Salsa Latina building on Central Avenue.
Salsa Latina serves authentic Latin American food including tamales, empanadas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, nachos, fajitas, Peruvian specialties, and more. Llano said they are keeping the same menu at the new location.
