Halle Berry proved that she's still the Catwoman more than 20 years after the release of her 2004 superhero film with her Halloween costume this year. The 58-year-old actress dressed up as a sexy witch for the holiday, complete with a live feline prop, her black cat Coco.
"No need for tricks when me and my little black kitty are the treat!" Berry captioned the Instagram post on Sunday, wearing a sparkly indigo dress with high slits up the leg, showing off racy cut-out tights, and pointy black boots. She paired the look with a matching witch's hat. "Happy International Black Cat Day y'all!!" she added, referring to the holiday that took place on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Earlier this year, Berry celebrated the 20 year anniversary of the cult-beloved film with a series of topless photos that naturally featured her two felines. In the movie, she starred as a meek graphic designer who inadvertently stumbles upon a conspiracy within the cosmetics company she works for, involving a dangerous product that could pose a public health risk.
"It’s been 20 years today since I had the honor of bringing this iconic character to life. She will always be close to my heart and I will forever be Patience Phillips a.k.a. Catwoman!" she captioned a July 23 Instagram post, referring to her character's name.
She also thanked the person who helped her rescue her beloved cats. "When these black beauties showed up in my yard searching for their mother, Jee helped us through the rescue process. Forever grateful!" she added.
Catwoman also starred Benjamin Bratt, Lambert Wilson, Frances Conroy, Alex Borstein, and Sharon Stone. It's available to watch on a variety of streaming platforms.
