Jennifer Garner & Her Son Samuel Are Making Fans Cackle At Their Haunted House Reactions

Jennifer Garner doesn’t play around when it comes to things spooky. In fact, while she’s a protective mama bear 99 percent of the time, the one percent was when she and Samuel went to a haunted house (and the video is hysterical)!

On Oct 27, Garner uploaded a compilation video to her Instagram with the caption reading, “????????????.”

Now, in the compilation video, we see Garner and her son Samuel freaking out over the haunted house scare actors. Garner hilariously put down “Moms in a Haunted House” as the video title, and boy, were there some funny moments.

For instance, we can hear Samuel tell his mom, “Mom, you’re breaking my hand. I can’t actually feel my hand,” referring to how hard she’s squeezing his hand out of fright. She also joked to the scare actors, saying, “I’m not who you want, take my son.”

If you didn’t laugh out loud when they said that, then you’re lying (and truly, fans can’t get enough of their mother-son antics)!

For those who don’t know, Garner and Ben Affleck met on the set of the 2004 movie Daredevil. Within a year, they got engaged, and by June 2005, they were married. They welcomed three children together named Violet, born Dec 2005, Seraphina, born Jan 2009, and Samuel, born in Feb 2012. They divorced by Oct 2018.

In a rare interview with TODAY’s Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager in late 2023, Garner talked about her parenting philosophies.

“I don’t know that I have some overarching philosophy,” she said. “I just think they’re such cool people and I want to hear everything, and I want to be around. But I also think it’s OK if they suffer from a little bit of benign neglect. Their lives are their own. I’m not trying to live their life, and I don’t mind that they see that I love mine.”
