OKMULGEE, Okla. (KFOR) - According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, two people have been taken into custody following a child exploitation investigation in Okmulgee.
The OSBI says on October 21, the Okmulgee Police Department asked for the bureau's help with a child sexual abuse case.
Earlier that day, officials say someone told police about the production of child sexual abuse material at a residence in Okmulgee. Upon arrival, OSBI special agents began investigation and identified 31-year-old Jennifer Prescott and her mother, 56-year-old Sharon Mitchell. It was determine the two women were sexually exploiting one of the two children that were living with them.
A search warrant led agents to explicit pictures on the suspects' electronic devices. Based on the investigation, both Prescott and Mitchell were arrested and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail on Child Sexual Exploitation charges. Their bond have been set at $100,000.
