“Our goal was to create a space for golfers, padel players, and the local community alike,” says Gerryt Bosman, Randpark’s Food and Beverage Manager. “With seating for up to 180 people inside and plenty of space outside, we’ve crafted an environment where people can relax and enjoy great food and drinks. We’ve partnered with Heineken for our beer selection and have a well-stocked wine cellar. Our Executive Chef Ezekiel Modise has created a menu sure to impress.”
The design of the Barstro was proposed and project managed by Keith Jacobs. Marius Botha and his Project Room team designed the architecture which brings warmth, style, and functionality together. “We wanted to create a beautiful and inviting environment, using natural colours and lots of glass to let the sunlight stream in,” says Botha. “It’s a place where everything is carefully thought out – from where the glasses are placed to how the staff can work efficiently, ensuring top-notch hospitality for our guests.”
And one of the highlights? The custom-built pizza oven is a centrepiece of the Barstro. “It wasn’t easy to install with the low roof, but now it’s a real showpiece where guests can watch their pizza being prepared,” adds Botha.
