Meryl Streep is having fun with fashion. The actress turned up to the USC Shoah Foundation 30th Anniversary Gala at the New York City Hilton on Sunday in a sheer top matched with a pair of black heels.
Streep’s shoes are a D’Orsay style. The front of the upper features a vamp cut slightly high on the foot. It also includes a v-shaped cut out in the center of the vamp. The upper appears to be crafted of either a suede or a short hair material.
The shoe was matched with a black suit look. The suit included a sheer top. Over the shirt, Streep wore a jacket as well as two pieces of satin fabric that function as lapels of sorts. She’s also wearing high-waisted tailored trousers featuring a front pleat.
Streep has been having fun with fashion recently. She recently turned up to the Emmy Awards wearing a pink suit from Sean McGirr’s McQueen. That custom look featured the brand’s almost signature sharp shoulder. It also included a puss-bow pink blows and a pair of relaxed pink trousers. She matched it with a strappy sandal from her closet.
Before that, she turned a few heads at the “Only Murders in the Building” season four premiere. She makes a cameo in the season but for the red carpet, she wore a pair of white slip-on mules. That effortless style featured a pointed toe.
Streep wasn’t the only star at the USC Shoah gala. Debra Messing was also there. Her shoes were a classic shiny black leather pump with an almond-shaped toe and about a four inch heel.
