Rahul Dravid: 13,265 runs
Sunil Gavaskar: 10,122 runs
Virat Kohli: 9,000 runs
VVS Laxman: 8,781 runs
Virat Kohli could become the third Indian batter to score 1,000 runs against New Zealand in Tests. Right now, Virat has 866 runs in 11 matches against them. This puts him behind Dravid, Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Cheteshwar Pujara in the list of runs scored against New Zealand
Most Runs by Indian Players Against New Zealand in Tests:
Rahul Dravid: 1,659
Sachin Tendulkar: 1,595
Virender Sehwag: 883
Cheteshwar Pujara: 867
Virat Kohli: 866
Virat Kohli needs just 134 runs to reach 1,000 runs against New Zealand, which would also surpass Pujara and Sehwag’s totals. The star Indian batter hasn’t scored many runs in 2024, with just one game over 50 in 16 matches. But he is excited to do well in the upcoming home series.
