POLICE found Liam Payne’s hotel room “in complete disarray” after the singer fell to his death from the balcony.
Argentine authorities said there appeared to be alcohol and narcotics in the suite.

Guests at the hotel said the singer displayed “disturbing” behaviour before his death.
And one witness described the ‘unreal’ encounter with Liam shortly before the tragedy.
Buenos Aires police said they found the star’s hotel room “in complete disarray” with broken objects and furniture.
They found packs of a prescription drug, energy supplements and other over-the-counter medications strewn about his belongings.
The Argentine public prosecutor said there also appeared to be alcohol and narcotics in the room.
Forensics teams reported that a whiskey bottle, lighter and mobile phone were retrieved from the building’s internal courtyard where Liam’s body was found.
Police said the circumstances surrounding Liam’s death were suspicious and possibly involved drugs.
They insisted there was no sign of third party involvement, however.
An autopsy revealed internal bleeding and 25 traumatic injuries to his skull, limbs and abdomen, which were enough to cause his death.
The lack of defensive injuries on Payne’s hands indicated that he may have fallen into a state of unconsciousness, the public prosecutor said.
Results of toxicology tests are pending and could take weeks to become public.
Police investigating Liam’s death are now piecing together what happened in the lead up.
It comes as…
Authorities have taken statement from three hotel employees and two women who had visited Liam in his room hours before his death.
The two women had left the hotel by the time of the incident, the prosecution said.
It is understood cops are now hunting for a drug dealer who may have supplied illegal substances.
The singer had been open about his battles with addiction in the past.
Liam was in Buenos Aires after going to see pal Niall Horan’s tour.
His death was confirmed after ambulance crews arrived at the hotel at about 5.11pm (9.11pm UK time) on Wednesday.

The head of reception said there was “a guest who is destroying everything in his room.”
In a second call for help, they said: “We need you to send someone urgently because I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger.
“They must be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit worried he’ll do something, that he’ll put his life at risk.”
Another guest at the hotel said she saw Liam display “disturbing” behaviour shortly before he fell.
She told the Mail how “there was something a bit desperate” about Liam’s behaviour.
Brett Watson, another guest at the hotel, said he and others saw Liam “causing a disturbance” minutes before he died.
Watson, from Chicago, told ITV Liam appeared to “pass out” in the lobby before he “had to be physically taken back up to his room”.
