A WOMAN has revealed that she’s spent thousands of pounds giving her boring council house a mega makeover.
Jamie Lee, a mum-of-five from the UK, explained that she lives in a very quiet area and has turned her home into the ultimate pink paradise.
Not only is the outside of her home pink, but she’s also got a pink shed and a pink garden fence too.
Her bathroom and kitchen are also pink, with a pink fridge and matching washing machine.
One of her daughters has an impressive Barbie-themed bedroom and to satisfy her love of the popular colour, she’s even got a pink sofa and a pink car too.
Keen to show off her jaw-dropping home, Jamie shared snaps of her pad on social media, on House exchange/Home Swap Council/housing Association UK ONLY, a public Facebook group with 170,400 members, leaving many open-mouthed and incredibly divided.
Alongside the pictures of her unique home, Jamie penned: “Large three bed house, Chelmsford. Broomfield housing association right to buy with permission.
“Really nice quiet area. Drive for two cars, large kitchen, 80ft large garden and concrete area.
“Two large bedrooms, one split with a unit to make two. One box room.”
Jamie explained that she has given the space a mega makeover, as she added: “I’ve completely done this house up.
“[I] removed artex and plastered walls, added new skirting and window sills.
“Spent thousands doing it up and so much time.”
But although Jamie has put her all into her home renovation, she is now looking to move house.
She confirmed: “I need a four bed or three bed with a separate dining room.
“I need a big garden because of all my garden stuff and would like a drive.”

Jamie’s post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 7,100 likes and over 2,000 shares.
But social media users were left totally divided by Jamie’s unique home – whilst some thought it looked ‘amazing’, others described it as ‘too much’.

RIGHT to Buy is a UK government scheme that allows eligible council and housing association tenants to purchase their homes at a discounted rate.
