What we know about Tyra Banks’ partner Louis Bélanger-Martin and whether the Victoria Secret’s model is married to him
TYRA Banks is one of the most recognized faces in the modeling industry.
The Victoria’s Secret model has enjoyed several high profile romances and is now loved up with her boyfriend Louis Bélanger-Martin
Tyra Banks has been in a serious relationship with businessman, Louis Bélanger-Martin, since 2018.
The happy couple moved in together in 2019, and live in California.
They are not married, but in 2020 rumors began to swirl that the supermodel was engaged after she was spotted in California sporting a diamond ring.
Despite the bling, a source debunked rumors and told US Weekly that Banks and Bélanger-Martin are, in fact, “not engaged.”
Tyra’s dating life
Although Tyra has never married, she is no stranger to high-profile relationships.
One of her most famous relationships was with actor, Will Smith, from 1993 to 1994.
The pair both starred on the sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, where Banks played Smith’s ex-girlfriend, Jackie.
Her longest relationship was with Wall Street businessman, John Utendahl, from 2007 to 2011.
Banks was also linked to British singer, Seal, actor, Tyler Perry, and even golf star, Tiger Woods.
Meet York
In January 2016, Tyra welcomed her son, York Banks Asla.
At the time, she was dating Norwegian photographer, Erik Asla.
York was welcomed via a surrogate due to several failed attempts at IVF, she told PEOPLE.
“I’ve had some not happy moments with that, very traumatic moments. It’s difficult as you get older. It’s not something that can just happen.”
Tyra and Asla split in 2017, however, the two reportedly get along and work together professionally.
Becoming a supermodel
Banks is an American television personality, model, producer, businesswoman, actress, singer, and author.
She began her career as a model at the age of 15 and was the first woman of African-American descent to be featured on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Tyra was also a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1997 to 2005.
By the early 2000s, she was one of the world’s top-earning models.
