Happy Tuesday!
We remain just south of an area of low pressure, which continues to stream light showers through our area for our Tuesday. The shower activity remains fairly spotty in nature, and will gradually start to clear up late this afternoon/evening. We will be colder today, with highs falling back to the lower 50s, and breezy conditions.
Clouds start breaking overnight, and winds begin to calm, leading to the potential for frost development across a lot of the region. Freeze alerts are in effect as temperatures dip close to freezing Wednesday morning.
Take some time to cover plants, and turn off the outside water. Wednesday afternoon we'll be warmer, with highs in the middle 50s and more sunshine.
Clear skies will lead to cold morning temperatures, close to freezing, for both Thursday and Friday, so do expect additional freeze alerts. Thursday afternoon warms to the lower 60s, and eventually into the upper 60s for Friday.
We've got a beautiful weekend on tap, with highs in the lower to middle 70s for both Saturday and Sunday, with abundant sunshine.
