YUKON, OK — Just last week News 4 spoke with an Oklahoma veteran who says his car ended up with thousands of dollars in damage after taking it through Okie Express Car Wash.
Now, we are hearing from another customer who says something similar happened to her.
Rhonda Sestak stopped by the Okie Express Car Wash after running some errands. She was expecting her car to come out looking brand new, but instead she lost her driver side mirror.
"I was just sitting there in the car wash and you just hear boom, like something hit the car," Sestak said.
Another mishap took place at Okie Express Car Wash, this time in Yukon where Rhonda's mirror was knocked off.
"He said, 'we did go over the tapes. We found that it's probably one of our brushes malfunctioning. It's our fault, we're definitely going to take care of it and somebody will be in contact,'" Sestak said.
The assistant manager told her this back in September, but as time passed, the phone never rang.
"I waited and nobody ever called," Sestak said.
She went back to the car wash and spoke with the same person. They told her the same thing but again she didn't hear from anyone.
Her mother saw our story about damage done to a car in Mustang, and once Rhonda saw it, she decided to reach out to us for help.
"She goes, 'maybe you should contact them and see. If there's other people out there, I mean, if they're giving the same runaround to those people, it's just bad,'" Sestak said.
We reached out to Okie Express and stopped by the location where it happened.
News 4 spoke with an employee who said he would let his manager know, but we never heard back.
Sestak just hopes they keep their word and cover the cost of the damage.
"They said it was their fault," Sestak said. "Now, I Hope that they will rectify the matter and just fix it."
We will follow up with her to see if they do.
