Halloween is almost here, and this is traditionally the time to start panicking. Because while some of you theme party-heads may have been assembling your costumes for months, others (ahem, me) are typically scrambling right about now, desperately trying to throw something together at the very last minute. But not this year, my friends!!
With over a decade of astrological work and thousands of hours of client sessions under my belt, I’ve put together a very serious list of Halloween costumes for each and every zodiac sign. You’re welcome.
Consider this a guide to tapping into your astrological profile for ghoulish guidance. For extra credit: Check for your Sun sign as well as your Venus placement (the planet most closely associated with aesthetic sensibility) to see which costume resonates with you the most. Taurus: Sabrina Carpenter
You don’t need to look to the planets to know that Ms. “Espresso” will be one of the most popular Halloween costumes of 2024 — but no one can truly embody her as well as a fellow Taurus! Taurus is the sign of luxury and sensuality, and Sabrina Carpenter’s winky pinup style is a perfect fit for like-minded bovines.
Gemini: Elle Woods
Like her twin, Bruiser, Elle Woods is a Gemini vegetarian — and now you can be, too! Elle is the quintessential Gemini: sharp, sociable, and a master at proving people wrong. Geminis love versatility, and Elle’s ability to excel at peak Y2K and law school speaks to the essence of Gemini duality.
Cancer: Carrie
Listen, I’ve never met a Cancer who didn’t understand the power of revenge. And who better to represent this telekinetic water sign than Carrie? She’s sensitive, intuitive, and haunted by her feelings, just like Cancers! While things might get messy, this costume captures this sign’s complex, emotional intensity perfectly — and it’s also an excellent reminder to never mess with you.
Leo: Charli XCX

Virgo: Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Virgo’s attention to detail and classic style align perfectly with Audrey Hepburn’s iconic role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. This costume is a good match for your love of vintage, too. Plus it’s the ideal ensemble for any and all childless cat ladies, so it’s sort of quasi-political, too.
Libra: Witch
Naturally enchanting and seductive, Libras are all about beguiling beauty, which makes an aesthetic witch ensemble the perfect costume for this sign. Top it off with a pointy black hat, or keep it ’90s cool like Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic or The Craft’s infamous frenemies.
