Insiders are speaking out to explain what was really happening in that viral video of Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek at the Balenciaga fashion show.
The acclaimed actresses were both in the front row at the Paris Fashion Week show last month and a video just went viral on TikTok that has made fans think there’s beef between them.
The video shows the actresses standing next to Katy Perry while surrounded by photographers on all sides. At one point, Salma puts her hands on Nicole, seemingly to get her to turn around for photos on the other side. Nicole then pushes the hands away and attempts to leave.
A lipreader has already revealed what was seemingly said between the actresses and now insiders are opening up about what actually happened.

“Nothing happened. They were being bombarded by cameras at the end of the show while in the middle of a conversation,” one insider told People. “People are looking at clips and making a story out of nothing.”
Another source told the outlet, “This whole situation is silly. Salma and Nicole love and respect each other.”
Us Weekly also spoke to a source who said, “There is no beef between the two women. They are close friends and there’s nothing to this. They were in the middle of a conversation and it’s being taken out of context.”
For those who don’t know, Salma is married to Francois-Henri Pinault, the CEO of Kering, the parent company of Balenciaga. Their wedding ranks among the most expensive celeb weddings of all time.
