A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Sunday.
According to the police, a motorcycle driven by a 38-year-old Greek Cypriot on the Lefkara – Vavatsinia road overturned at 8.40am on Sunday morning.
Police said a preliminary alcohol test was carried out with a zero reading.
Though the driver was wearing a protective helmet, he sustained fractures to various body parts but his condition is out of danger.
The man is being kept for treatment at the orthopedic department of the Larnaca General Hospital.
Lefkara police are investigating the exact causes of the incident.
