New Delhi: Team India’s star batsman Sanju Samson has scored an astonishing century, destroying Bangladesh with his explosive batting. In the third and final match of the T20 series against Bangladesh in Hyderabad, Sanju Samson played the best innings of his T20 career and scored a century in just 40 balls. With this, he scored the second-fastest century for India in T20 International. During this inning, Sanju thrashed Bangladeshi spinner Rishad Hossain the most and hit 5 consecutive sixes in his one over. He successfully surpassed the previous record held by Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who scored a 23-ball fifty against Bangladesh in 2019.

In the last T20 match of the series in Hyderabad, Team India came to bat first and Sanju Samson took full advantage of it. Sanju, who failed to play a big innings in the first and second matches of the series, settled the score in the third match and hit such a rain of sixes and fours that surprised the spectators sitting in the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, while the Bangladeshi players present on the field and their coach sitting in the dugout were extremely upset.

Sanju Samson goes past Rohit Sharma:
In the proceeding, Sanju also broke Rohit Sharma’s record during the match. In a match against Australia, Rohit took 29 runs off Mitchell Starc’s over in the T20 World Cup earlier this year. Sanju smashed Bangladesh spinner Rishad Hossain for 30 runs as he slammed five sixes in an over. Sanju also hit the second-fastest century by an Indian in T20I history.
