Arizona State upset No. 16 Utah on Friday night with a 27-19 victory, and the Sun Devils earned their fifth win of the season while handing Utah its second loss so far.
Coach Kenny Dillingham was understandably amped after the underdog victory and delivered an incredible postgame interview. Cooled off by the time he got to his press conference, Dillingham shared a message to preseason bettors: send your winnings to our NIL collective.
Going into the season, the over/under for Arizona State’s win total on the year was 4.5 at BetMGM, and Friday’s win over Utah was the fifth of the season. Dillingham asked the ASU fans who bet on the over to celebrate by putting that money right back into the program.

To those winners, Dillingham said:
“We were picked to win four games this year, so a lot of Sun Devils fans obviously picked the over in Vegas, right? For those of you guys who won, put that money back into the collective, right?
“Because you get to celebrate these wins, you get to have another cold one with your friends, you get to have great Saturday nights — that should be enough for you already. Take that money that you’ve won, put it back into these kids, put it back into that collective, right? And let’s enjoy the rest of the year.”
Arizona State is looking fairly solid this season with a 5-1 overall record and a 2-1 record in its first Big 12 season. The Sun Devils could easily end up with a few more wins this year.
