What We’re Tracking
Temperatures this morning are in the 50s and 60s to start out. We continue to trend above average with highs in the upper 80s and even low 90s by the early afternoon. Winds may try and pick up from the southwest at 10-15 mph.
These warm temperatures continue into the start of the weekend. Highs will hang out in the upper 80s and lower 90s for Saturday afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Luckily, we are tracking a nice cold front that will knock temperatures down by Sunday.
We may see highs drop almost 20 degrees for Sunday afternoon as we top out in the low 70s. By Monday we could struggle out of the upper 60s. It's possible we even see low dropping into the 30s by Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
This cold front moves in dry as it does not bring any rain chances with it. Our dry spell does continue over the next 7 days, at least. Unfortunately, not looking good for current drought conditions across our area.
