Rick Middleton scored over 400 goals across 12 seasons with the Boston Bruins with an All-Star selection during the 1981-1982 NHL season.
Even after his playing career, the Bruins legend found ways to impact the sport on an international level, serving as a head coach of the 2002 Paralympic Sled Hockey team for the United States to win the gold medal.
That team will be enshrined as inductees into the Hockey Hall of Fame, adding another accolade for Middleton on top of his career.
Middleton joined NESN’s Adam Pellerin and Andy Brickley on “The Hockey Hub” podcast to discuss that run as the Bruins begin the 2024-25 NFL season.
