TIKTOK’S new viral challenge provides women the chance to put their boyfriend to the ultimate test.
Following on from the beer poster challenge, the new “name a woman” challenge is simple enough, with even celebrities hopping on the viral trend to take part.
The “name a woman” challenge is a game TikTok fans are using on their partners to put them to the test.
This challenge involves women asking their boyfriends to say the name of a woman that immediately comes to mind.
The hopes are that men will say the name of their girlfriend first, but the FYP is showcasing how this is often not the case.
This new challenge is said to signal your significant other’s true feelings and identify any red flags in your relationship.
The trend was started on TikTok by Tania Martinez (@taniatotanezmatinez) for a bit of fun.
Introducing the game she challenges other TikTok users with the task that’s since gone viral, saying: “Today ask your man to name a woman.
“If that guy says any other name than yours.
“You should start a fight.”
For most, the challenge is just a bit of harmless fun, with the majority staging upset when they don’t receive the response they were after, and eventually laughing it off.
But for some, the name a woman challenge has been taken more seriously.
Those view it as the ultimate red flag if their name was not at the forefront of their partners mind.
When one man said the name “Madison,” his girlfriend exclaimed that she was “done with him”.
The challenge has become soo popular that even influencers and celebrities are getting involved.
In one viral video, which has amassed over three million views, influencer Yolanda Diaz asked her boyfriend to name a woman.
After he named Zendaya Coleman, Yolanda gasped saying that she couldn’t compete with the actress.
Other celebrities that have been taking part in the challenge are TikTok sensation Alix Earle, and the NFL Player Braxton Berrios.
Alix and Braxton began dating in November 2023 after meeting at a party.
“Name one woman”, the Alix said seriously.
“That’s the question?
“Alix” he responded.
“How stupid do you think I am?” Braxton responded quick-wittedly as his girlfriend giggled.
