In any given year, it’s reported Nadal can earn around £33million alone, and throughout his career he’s amassed earnings of £430million.

The 14-time French Open champion also has deals with Emporio Armani, PokerStars and Kia Motors.
Nadal’s other partnerships include ones with Santander, luxury fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger and Babolat, who supply the 37-year-old’s tennis racquets.
In an emotional video released on social media, Nadal confirmed his retirement, citing the last couple of years as incredibly difficult to play through with numerous injuries.
“I am here to let you know I am retiring from professional tennis,” he said.
“The reality is that it has been some difficult years, the last two especially.
“I don’t think I have been able to play without limitations.”
