Customers tucking into a pizza got a huge surprise when a fish fell out of the sky and landed on their plate.
Footage shows customers in the Black Dog Oven on the Isle of Man enjoying their beef, stilton and kale pizza when a seagull swoops above them.
Noticing room for improvement, the animal drops them a fish landing directly on the meal.
The group were seen laughing as they realised what had just happened, before they informed the chef of the surprise dish.
They received a new pizza on the restaurant, with owner Mike Wade saying: ‘I honestly couldn’t believe it.
‘We were all pretty impressed with the gull’s aim. It was perfect, absolutely pinpoint, and fired at such an angle that the big piece of fish had to shoot under a low roof to hit the pizza so perfectly. Hats off.
‘And when the chap showed me his pizza, slightly stunned, I just folded up laughing. There was literally nothing I could do otherwise.
‘I obviously made sure they were okay, as seagulls can be quite intimidating when they grab food out of people’s hands and, again, obviously replace their food for them for free.
‘But essentially myself and my staff laughed like drains, thankfully the customers did too.’
The restaurant kindly offered to replace the now-fishy pizza free of charge.
Mike added: ‘I had literally just delivered their food to them, and the lady in question told me how much she loved her dish.
‘A beef, Stilton, and kale pizza, which was a very popular special that weekend.
‘I did feel sorry for her, but we made sure the replacement was just as special.’
