A person was taken into custody Tuesday night after a gun was found inside a room at Trump International Hotel and Tower.
A Chicago police SWAT team responded about 6:50 p.m. to the River North skyscraper, 401 N. Wabash Ave., police said.
The person, whose age and gender weren't released, was taken into custody "without incident," police said. Many police squad cars, fire rescue vehicles and an armored police vehicle were at the scene.
No other information was available.
In March, the exterior of one of the lower levels of Trump Tower was tagged with graffiti with messages reading, "Free Palestine" and "Israel Bombs USA Pays."
