Zoe Saldana attended a screening of “Emilia Pérez” during the 47th Mill Valley Film Festival at Smith Rafael Film Center held on Oct. 05 in San Rafael, Calif.
The “Avatar” actress kept her footwear simple, sporting a pair of Mary Jane-inspired heels in black. Equipped with glossy black patent leather uppers, sharp pointed toes, thin ankle straps and adjustable gold buckle closures, the style blends a classic pump silhouette with that of a Mary Jane, an equally classic choice.
2 to 3-inch stilettos offer the hybrid shoe height, lengthening Saldana’s already towering frame. Glossy and sophisticated, the thespian’s footwear pick paired nicely with the overall neutral color scheme going on in her wardrobe choice for the screening. Top brands like Versace, Amina Muaddi, Loewe and Prada all feature comparable styles to Saldana’s own.
On the outfit front, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star dripped in a full Dior look in monochrome black. Saldana sported a black lace top fixed with pearl closures and voluminous sleeves and a matching maxi skirt. She also wore a Dior belt and a pendant necklace.
A lover of taking risks with her wardrobe, Saldaña’s fashion choices are often chic and sleek. On the red carpet, the “Star Trek” actress favors stiletto-heeled pumps and mules by Louboutin, Piferi and Jimmy Choo, among other luxury labels.
When off-duty, she can also be spotted in Maison Margiela loafers, Tamara Mellon boots and Saint Laurent sandals, in addition to numerous contemporary styles. Her casual ensembles also feature sporty sneakers by Superga and Adidas, as well.
“Emilia Pérez” is an upcoming Spanish-language French musical crime comedy film written and directed by Jacques Audiard based on Audiard’s opera libretto of the same name. The film enlists the help of talents like Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldana and Édgar Ramírez, among others.
